**Chaeng froze and went blank when she saw Mina standing in front of the door and telling her that she wanted to talk. Talk? Are they going to talk about how cold-hearted she treated her at the café? Is that how she offended her? That she needed to climb into her hotel room just to confront her?**
**Chaeng’s throat went dry, and worst, she couldn’t produce even a small amount of liquid in her mouth. Shit! She wants to utter, but her lips couldn’t move, too. What’s going on with me? She thought.**
Mina: I know you’re not in the mood to talk.
**’Cause I know you’re upset. Mina wanted to add, but kept it in her mind, instead.**
**First, she’s not a hundred percent sure why Chaeng was sulky earlier. She doesn’t want to assume that it’s because of her visiting Jeong, though Ryujin was so certain that it’s because of that. Second, what if Chaeng will think that she’s too confident for thinking that she likes her? And what if Chaeng denies it and laughs at her? So, she needs to be careful in choosing her words.**
**Chaeng lowly cleared her throat. She doesn’t want it to be obvious that’s why she kept it as inaudible as possible.**
Mina: But… well, I don’t actually know how to say it.
Chaeng: Hmm…
**Chaeng has a wild guess of what Mina wants to talk about. It might be about the attitude she showed back at the café. And the thing is, looking back at how she behaved earlier kind of surged guilt inside her. First, this girl in front of her doesn’t deserve to be treated as such. And lastly, she has no right to react like that. Mina could and should do whatever pleases her, and that’s a fact.**
Chaeng: If… if it’s about me turning my back to you, I’m sorry. I… I know what I’ve shown you earlier isn’t right. That was… childish, you know.
**Then she looked down to avoid Mina’s gaze. She finally realized how wrong she was, and it makes her feel embarrassed and stupid at the same time.**
Mina: I… I just want to know why? I mean, I don’t remember doing something to you. You now, for you to… get upset.
Chaeng: Right.
**She whispered, still shrinking from the thought of walking out and rejecting Mina for the coffee she prepared for her.**
Chaeng: Sorry… again. It just… It just so happened that I’m overthinking things. I mean…
**Chaeng paused for almost a minute, and Mina was staring at her intently, waiting for her to speak again. But it feels eternity to wait for her next words. So instead of keeping herself quiet until Chaeng says something, she dropped the question that she’d been dying to ask before she climbed to Chaeng’s room.**
Mina: Is it because I visited my fiancé and her mom? Is that it?
**Now Mina doesn’t care anymore if it will sound like she’s assuming things. What matters now for her is to get an answer.**
**Chaeng was staring at the pattern sewn on the carpet floor. There was a smudge of she doesn’t know if coffee or hot chocolate, and it’s directly under Mina’s left foot. She wondered if the service staff knew about it. If they did, why aren’t they doing anything to clean it up?**
**Then she took a deep breath before she answered Mina. There’s no point in diverting her attention to something else anymore. It will only show how childish she is.**
Chaeng: Hmm… yeah! I mean, I honestly feel stupid for believing that maybe we could, you know… give each other a chance to have another dinner or more than that. But when I found out that you drove to her and her mom, it made me think that maybe you’re still not ready to open yourself to someone… someone like me.
**Well, Mina couldn’t deny that it’s the thing she wanted to hear from her. ‘Cause if it’s not the case, she’ll be more disappointed.**
Mina: Would you… would you mind if I come inside?
**She felt that a few minutes won’t be enough for them to discuss things. So asking Chaeng if she could enter her room would be the best option, than asking to meet her downstairs at the coffee shop.**
Chaeng: Oh… yeah, sorry.
**Then she stepped sidewards and opened the door wider so Mina could enter.**
**Mina stood at the bottom of the bed and waited for Chaeng to close the door before she pulled herself to say something again. But no matter how much she thinks of the words to say, nothing is coming out from her lips. She’s worried that she’ll say something that will further upset Chaeng.**
Chaeng: Why don’t you… Uhm…
**Chaeng pulled the comforter on the bed to fix it before she continued with what she was saying.**
Chaeng: take a seat?
**Mina nodded, but she didn’t move even an inch. She’s waiting for Chaeng to get near her before taking a step closer. Chaeng noticed that Mina’s not moving even a little, so she finished fixing the sheet and the comforter as soon as she could. Maybe Mina’s not comfortable seeing a messy bed. She thought.**
Chaeng: Uhm… sorry. I’m not really used to fixing my bed. You know, I live alone so no one scolds me in the morning when I get up.
**Mina chuckled. She finds it cute that Chaeng is explaining herself though, in reality, she doesn’t care if her room is unorganized or not.**
Mina: Sorry.
**Chaeng eyed her with a wrinkled forehead. She couldn’t grasp why Mina’s laughing while she’s still uncomfortable with this confrontation. It’s like she’s running out of words and even breath, but then here’s this girl who’s laughing at something she doesn’t know.**
Chaeng: W—why?
**Mina shook her head, still giggling. She knows it might offend Chaeng, but she really couldn’t stop herself from giggling.**
Mina: Sorry… sorry. Anyway, where are we?
**Chaeng's finally done with the bed, so she walked towards Mina, yet still a few feet away from her.**
Chaeng: Uhm... I guess… you visiting your fiancé and me thinking the possibility of us?
**Mina smiled after hearing Chaeng say the same thing that's running in her head. And the very reason she drove to Jeong and ask for permission to see someone else.**
Mina: Hmm... right. So, you really thought about the possibility of us?
**Chaeng shifted her gaze again to something else. This time she's trying to focus on the undone sheet at the bottom corner of the bed. She wasn't able to fix it 'cause it's closer to Mina and she still has this little tension inside.**
Chaeng: Is it bad to hope for something? I mean, I know we just met several days ago, but...
**She paused 'cause she saw Mina took a step towards her, which made her heart flutters more. Stop! She wants to blurt out, but she couldn’t explain why her body got stiffed. Shit! What’s going on with me? Why do I keep on losing my grip on myself?**
**Then Mina grabbed Chaeng’s hand and squeezed it. It wasn’t Mina’s plan to touch her, but there’s a surge inside that keeps on pushing her to get closer to her like the need for air. She wants to breathe her, and the desire keeps on burning in her throat. If she won’t bend to her desire, then it will only kill her even more.**
**Chaeng flinched at the moment when Mina held her hand. It wasn’t because she doesn’t like it, but because Mina’s hand was cold and trembling. If you're as nervous as this, why do you still have the courage to close our distance? Chaeng wants to ask. But instead of speaking those words, she just sucked up some air and pulled some courage deep down her heart.**
**Then Mina lifted her left hand to rub the side of her jaw before she pressed it against the back of her neck. Chaeng knows what’s next. She’d seen this so many times in all the books she’d written. But even though she’d written it a lot of times, it’s still the first time she’ll ever going to experience it.**
**Her heart’s wrecking her torso, but she’s not complaining. There’s nothing in the world that she’s dying to have right now, except for Mina’s lips pressed against hers. So, before Mina could even close the distance between them, her eyes were already shut. Anticipating the smell of her breath down in her nostrils.**
**Mina’s breath smells like cinnamon, which made Chaeng crave for more. She wants to taste her, and breathe her until there’s nothing left. But then she just stood there, patiently waiting for Mina to lean closer. It’s the least thing she could do. And then she felt it, slowly pressing against her lower lip. A soft velvety touch of her lips against hers.**
**Another batch of drum rolls kicked in inside her, and she couldn’t explain it. It’s better than dancing under the rain or diving in a deep-sea or feeling the rush of waterfalls against her body. It’s better than anything she’d experience in her entire life.**
**Mina tightened her grip on Chaeng’s neck, and Chaeng could feel the tip of her fingernails piercing against her skin. She could feel Mina’s hunger to be held, so she pulled her waist towards her giving them no space in between.**
**Chaeng was already out of control. She’s no longer thinking. Not even weighing things in her hand. Doesn’t care anymore if they’re doing the right thing or not. All she knows is she’s with her… with Mina… exchanging breaths, caressing skin, and holding each other as if they don’t want to let go.**
**Chaeng pushed Mina on the bed, which made Mina bounced on it while she stumbled and almost hit her head into hers. But that didn’t stop them. Their lips were still locked to each other.**
**Mina breathed the coffee Chaeng took an hour ago and tasted the sweet strawberry cake in her tongue. She likes the taste of it, so she reached for her tongue even more and sucked it. Chaeng let out a short moan while lying on top of her, feeling every inch of her curves.**
**Mina continued to play inside Chaeng’s mouth, which made Chaeng dig the inside of her shirt and squeezed her a bit harder. Mina squeaked and twitched from it, but she doesn’t want Chaeng to stop it.**
**Chaeng pulled her lips from Mina and apologized.**
Chaeng: Sorry.
**She whispered under Mina’s nostrils.**
Mina: It’s fine.
**Then she runs her hand at Chaeng’s cheekbone to tuck the strands of hair dangling on her side.**
Mina: Are you… are you still upset?
**Chaeng smiled before she answered. How can she continue being upset if she’s lying with this girl and breathing the same air that she’s breathing?**
Chaeng: I don’t think I have reasons to be upset now. Well…
**She smirked, kind of feeling how lucky she is at the moment.**
Chaeng: I guess I’ll be upset if you stop kissing me.
**Her left brow arched, daring Mina for another kiss.**
**Mina didn’t think twice. She pushed herself a little to reach for Chaeng’s lips. And when she reached for it, she pushed her with a little force so she’ll be lying on her back on the bed. Chaeng stared at her for a second but didn’t speak again. She just laid in her back and allowed Mina to do whatever she wants to do to her.**
**Mina kissed her the way she kissed her several minutes ago, but now she’s in control.**
**She’s lying on top of Chaeng sucking her tongue again, pressing her torso against her, and pulling her thighs close to her. And it’s the first time she isn’t thinking about Jeong. But she doesn’t feel guilty about it ‘cause it feels right to be in that hotel room and touching the girl underneath her.**
**Chaeng pulled Mina’s shirt before she grabbed her again and hold her tight. She likes the warm feel of her skin. It’s perfect for the burning desire she’s feeling inside.**
**Mina kissed Chaeng below her left ear, which tickled her so hard. But she didn’t push her to stop. Instead, she just let her fingers dig Mina’s back to suppress how tickling her kiss is.**
**Then she felt Mina’s hand run on her thigh, caressing her from her hips down to her knee. She did it several times while she’s down to her chest and letting the tip of her tongue lick every inch of it.**
**Chaeng was just there lying on her back, twitching her body every now and then, or raking Mina’s hair with her fingers. She doesn’t know what else to do aside from pulling Mina even more against her. And she even froze when Mina slid her hand between her thighs. It was different from all the kisses she received from her. There’s a different sensation that she couldn’t explain.**
**The tip of Mina’s fingers rubbing inside, up-down, up-down, makes her want to cry. It wasn’t something that she wants to end. She wants her to keep going, and going, and going until she’ll lose her strength. Mina sensed that she likes it. That she’s enjoying it. So, she keeps her hand moving. Slowly and penetrating, until she heard Chaeng grasp for more air. Not a chance for her to stop, so she moved a little faster, which made Chaeng’s body trembled and let out a loud cry.**
**Mina climbed back to kiss Chaeng on her lips. But Chaeng’s eyes were still closed, panting so hard from the previous explosion that happened to her. So, instead of kissing her on her lips, Mina just gave her a peck on her cheek. But when she’s about the push herself up, Chaeng pulled her again and enveloped her in her arms.**
Chaeng: Thank you!
**She mumbled, still catching her breath.**
