**Everyone's already sitting when Dahyun and Chaeng arrived at the grill, waiting for the food to be served.**

**Where's Mina? Chaeng thought as she scans their table.**

**Mina raised her hand to her cheekbone just enough to catch Chaeng's attention.**

**Chaeng instantly smiled at the sight of her. Then she saw Mina subtly gestured that the seat beside her is still empty.**

Jihyo: Chaeyoung, sit beside Mina.

Dahyun: Where am I?

Jeong: Here!

**Jeong pointed at the seat next to her, opposite to the space beside Mina.**

Dahyun: Oh! Okay!

**Then both of them walked towards the empty seats.**

Mina: How was it? Did you finish your lyrics?

**She mumbled.**

Chaeng: Not yet. But, we're almost done. Dahyun led the writing earlier.

**It's a bit unusual for Chaeng to say that someone else is leading the lyric writing since it's her forte. So Mina was kind of confused about Dahyun leading the writing for their melody.**

Mina: Something's wrong?

**Chaeng stared at her before she answered.**

Mina: Is it something about the one you want to talk about?

Chaeng: Kind of, but it's not that important. I mean, you don't have to worry about that.

**Mina creased her forehead and placed her right hand on Chaeng's left knee. She's worried, which alarmed Chaeng, too.**

**The more she says it's fine, the more Mina gets worried about it.

Chaeng: Hey! That's fine! It's nothing, for real.

Mina: Sure?

Chaeng: Yeah! Why don't we just enjoy our dinner and continue this talk later? When we're alone?

**Mina smiled. She realized that there's no point in asking questions about it since they are surrounded by everyone.**

Mina: okay! We'll talk later.

**Then the waiter lay down each plate on their table, bearing meat of different flavors.**

Dahyun: Let's get the spicy one.

**Chaeng turned to Dahyun, and she was almost leaning her head on Jeong's shoulder.**

Jeong: This one?

**Jeong said softly.**

**Wait! What's that? Chaeng thought.**

** It's strange to see and hear Jeong that soft because she never is. She's always loud and playing around, but what's this?**

**Chaeng's curious eyes continued to gaze at these two strange persons in front of her, while Mina removed the cover of Chaeng's steamed rice.**

Mina: Which one do you like? Classic or the spicy one?

**That question drew back Chaeng in her reality.**

Chaeng: Hmm?

Mina: This one or this one?

Chaeng: Oh, I'll go with the classic one. It tastes better when you dip it in melted cheese.

**Then Mina started to grill several pieces of the classic flavored meat on the grilling pan.**

**Everyone keeps on talking to each other while working on grilling their meat, and eating their side dishes.**

**Then Jihyo noticed Chaeng and mina being close to each other. Smiling at how she and Jeong successfully made them talk like this.**

Jihyo: Chaeng, how's your lyrics project?

Chaeng: Hmm... I guess we're doing great. Right, bro?

**Dahyun wasn't listening because she and Jeong were busy whispering at each other's ears.**

Chaeng: Bro!

Dahyun: Yes, bro?

Chaeng: The lyrics, we're doing great, right?

Dahyun: Oh, yeah! I guess we'll be able to finish it by tomorrow since we're almost done.

Jihyo: Great! I hope to hear it sooner.

Nayeon: Does it have a rap part on it?

Dahyun: Hmm... we're planning to, but we're not on that part yet. We still need to finalize the second verse before we'll write the rap part.

Jihyo: Does that mean you're already done with the chorus?

Chaeng: Yeah, we are. But I'm thinking of revising it though.

Nayeon: Why? Not good enough for your taste?

Chaeng: I guess, it's a bit cringy, but let's see. Maybe it will sound better when everything is done.

Dahyun: I think it's okay. Not that cringy for me though.

Chaeng: Okay! Let's see if we could keep it or not.

Mina: Can I hear it later?

**Mina asked while pulling out the meat she grilled on the grilling pan. Then she placed the saucer between her and Chaeng.**

Chaeng: I was actually planning to read it to you later. I kind of need your opinion on it.

**Mina turned to Chaeng and smiled, which instantly brought a smile to Chaeng's face.**

Mina: You need my opinion about it? Well, I don't think so. You're so good at this writing stuff. You know I'm a big fan.

Chaeng: Really? I don't know that you're a fan.

**Then Mina shifted back her attention to the grilling pan to flip the meat on it.**

Mina: Hmm... now you know.

**Chaeng giggled and caressed Mina's side, enjoying the butterflies swarming inside her.**

**It took them almost two hours to finish their dinner, but they don't mind because they really enjoyed their barbeque together. It's one of the best grilling restaurants in the area.**

Chaeng: Can we meet in the living room later? Maybe at eleven?

**It's the safest time for them to meet at any part of their apartment because everyone is asleep or if not, most of them are just lying on their bed trying to doze off.**

Mina: Hmm... Okay. Or maybe message me when you're all set.

Chaeng: Sure! Sure! I will.

**Then they separated when Mina reached their car, and Chaeyoung continued to walk to the car parked next to Mina's.**

Chaeng: Bro!

**Chaeng called out Dahyun who's walking before her.**

Dahyun: Bro!

Chaeng: What was that?

Dahyun: What do you mean what was that?

Chaeng: You and Jeong? I mean, I never saw her so soft like that.

**Dahyun laughed nervously, and Chaeng noticed the surprise in her reaction.**

Dahyun: What are you talking about?

Chaeng: Remember... I'm your best friend?

**Chaeng stopped walking, so they could talk before they'll hop in their car.**

Dahyun: Seriously, bro, what are you talking about?

Chaeng: Do I need to tell you that I know you from head to toe that you can't hide something from me?

Dahyun: Come on! It's nothing. It's just us talking.

Chaeng: With you almost leaning on her? Is that what you call nothing?

Dahyun: I'm serious, it's just nothing.

Chaeng: You know that Nayeon likes her, right?

Dahyun: But she doesn't like her.

Chaeng: Whaaaaaaat? So you know something?

Dahyun: I'm tired, and I have homework that I need to finish tonight. Can we just talk about this some other time? Please?

**Chaeng doesn't have much choice but to let this go. Maybe Dahyun isn't ready to talk about this yet. She thought.**

**So, she let it pass today. Only today. She told herself.**
