**Jihyo didn't hesitate to open their shared bedroom, though it's already one in the morning.**

**She went straight to Mina's bed since Mina's phone is still brightly lit in their lightless room.**

Jihyo: Mina, are you busy?

**Jihyo whispered. Afraid to wake Sana up.**

**Mina flinched. She didn't notice Jihyo entered the room since she's focused on what she's looking at on her phone.**

Mina: You scare me!

**Even if she got startled, she still managed to whisper her response.**

Jihyo: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to scare you. But can you do me a favor?

Mina: What's that?

**Her eyes were fixed at Jihyo even though she barely sees her.**

Jihyo: You know the game in Chaeng's PS4, right? The one which you will kill hundreds of zombies?

Mina: Yeah! Why? What about it?

Jihyo: Well, we made a bet with Chaeyoung, me, and Jeongyeon. If she'll defeat us, we'll give her lunch or dinner. But if she loses with someone, she'll threat that person to whatever restaurant they want. The thing is, Jeongyeon and I are not good at that game. So, maybe you could play with us? Besides, I remember you mentioned a new Japanese Restaurant at the end of our street. So, maybe... it's your chance now to have a free meal?

**Mina thought about it for a second. Will Chaeng be with her if she gets her prize?**

Mina: Hmm... who will be with me if I win?

Jihyo: Chaeyoung will. She's gonna pay for it, so she needs to be there.

**Mina nodded. She's now ready to wreck Chaeng's console just to be with her. Even just for  one meal.**

Mina: You guys will join, right?

**She asked another question. It's the last one. She just wanted to make sure that it's only her and Chaeng when she claims her prize.**

Jihyo: No. She can only pay for one meal. That's the deal.

**She bit her tongue, afraid that she'll smile with the thought of it.**

Mina: Okay. I'll do it.

Jihyo: Great! Let's go!

**She covered her mouth, remembered that Sana is sleeping on the bed next to Mina.**

**They hurried to the living room. Mina suppressing the excitement she feels. But, will she be able to defeat Chaeng?**

Jeong: They're here.

**She whispered in Chaeng's ear.**

Chaeng: Shit!

**She lowered her head. Her heart's fluttering and her hands are sweating.**

Chaeng: I can't do this.

**Chaeng's about to stand up, but Jeongyeon placed her hand on Chaeng's shoulder and pressed it so she won't be able to stand up.**

Jeong: Don't be a chicken! We're helping you out here, so be thankful.

**She whispered again.**

**Be thankful? I'm not ready for this yet. She thought.**

Jihyo: I'm back! But now, with a guest. Can you sit here, Mina?

**Jihyo pointed at the spot beside Chaeyoung. Without thinking twice, Mina sat beside Chaeng.**

Jihyo: First, let me tell you the rules. Who gets the higher score wins. One game only, okay? And whoever wins will receive a free meal from the loser.

**Chaeng realized that whoever wins, she still needs to spend a day with Mina.**

Chaeng: This is still unfair.

**She mumbled.**

Chaeng: She's the master gamer, and I'm just playing this to entertain myself.

**Jeong pulled Chaeng by her shoulder.**

Jeong: What's unfair with that, buddy? You master this game, right?

**Jeongyeon turned to ask Mina.**

Jeong: MIna, have you played this game before?

Mina: Eh? Not yet. This is the first time.

**Jeong nodded and shifted back her attention to Chaeng.**

Jeong: Now tell me. Aren't we crueler to Mina, than what you think about us being unfair to you?

**She's right. Enough with complaining. Chaeng thought.**

Jihyo: Enough with the talking. Why don't you start that thing now?

Chaeng: Okay.

**She said softly.**

Chaeng: Challenger first?

**She glanced at Mina, yet avoiding having eye contact with her.**

Mina: Why don't you show it to me first? I don't know how that thing works.

**Jeongyeon and Jihyo stood up and sat on the sofa. Watching from behind.**

**Both were smirking at how they succeeded in their plan to let these two have their moment together. Wait until they have their lunch date.**

Chaeng: Right! Right!

**She's gasping for air. And her throat is getting dry again.**

Chaeng: You have to press this button to shoot, and this one to reload. Press this and you'll crouch.

Mina: Can I try it first before I start? I'm not sure if I get it all.

Chaeng: Oh! Yeah! Yeah! Sure.

**Chaeng restarted the game and put it in practice mode.**

**Mina realized that it doesn't matter if she'll lose. She'll still have lunch with Chaeng no matter what. The only difference is she'll pay for it, which doesn't bother her at all.**

Chaeng: Ah! You're good! Yeah! That's it.

**Mina giggled. Not because she could play the game, but because Chaeng is beside her, cheering her up.**

**Mina finished the practice mode without a single sweat.**

Chaeng: You think you're comfortable playing it?

**Chaeng's more relaxed now. Her heart went back to its normal beat.**

Chaeng: Shall we start, now?

Mina: Hmm...

**Then she nodded.**

**Chaeng restarted the game once more. She doesn't care anymore if she'll lose to her.**

**She's mesmerized by how Mina plays her favorite game.**

**I think I could watch her play this thing all day. She thought.**

Mina: Ehh?

**She hunched down at the floor, embarrassed at how the game ended.**

**Then she giggled.**

Mina: Aah! I can't win with you. With that score, I just can't.

Chaeng: That's fine. It's actually a good score for a beginner. When I first played this game, I only got half of your score. Which makes you better than me.

**Mina was still staring at Chaeng even when Chaeng started to play.**

**Chaeng got distracted. She turned to see if Mina is really staring at her. And yes, she is, smiling.**

**Then they all heard a growl of a zombie, which made Jeongyeon laugh.**

Jeong: Game over!

**She shouted, still laughing.**

Chaeng: Whaaaaaaaat?

**She couldn't believe she lost.**

Jeong: Sorry, kid! We won. Better free up your sched tomorrow. Okay?

**Both Jeongyeon and Jihyo stood up and patted Chaeng on her shoulder.**
