**Dahyun woke up at two, and when she shifted at her right, Tuzyu was sleeping soundly, and she's guessing Chaeyoung, too.**
**Well, it's still early, so she went back from closing her eyes to visit her Dreamland again. But it seems like she won't be able to succeed this time. Her mind is restless. Not from school or work, but from thinking about her.**
**But no matter how much she tried, she always ends up thinking about her.**
**I hate you! Why do you need to make our situation hard? I thought we're done already. I thought everything is clear now. But why do you need to mention me again? I hate you! I really do!**
**And before she could scream every word popping in her head and wake up everyone, she decided to get out of their room. Maybe eat something or just walk in the living room to tire herself, so she could fall asleep again.**
**She pulled the donut box she stuck in the fridge yesterday and find her place at the nook.**
Dahyun: This is heaven.
**She muttered after she took the first bite.**
**Then someone appeared in the kitchen unexpectedly. But Dahyun pretended it didn't startle her.**
Jeong: You never changed, you always get up in the middle of the night just to nibble something.
**She said casually.**
**Dahyun didn't say anything. She just continued to eat her donut and ignored Jeong.**
Jeong: I know. Talking to me isn't your thing anymore, but come on don't torture me like this. We need to talk.
**Jeong leaned on the fridge, waiting for Dahyun to look at her. Totally forgot the reason why she's there. But Dahyun seemed to be firm at ignoring her.**
**Then she pulled another donut from the box. Last. She thought.**
**Even though she wanted to go back to her room 'cause she doesn't want this encounter with Jeong, her hunger is more powerful than anything else.**
Jeong: Every day I wake up at this hour just to check if you're awake, eating something. 'Cause I want to talk to you. I want us to talk.
**Dahyun still didn't answer. She wanted to finish as soon as possible and run back to her room.**
Jeong: You know what?
**She said softly.**
Jeong: It's harder to forget when you don't get what you need. Closure.
**Closer? Didn't we talk about this already several weeks ago? you called and I answered, remember? She wants to say.**
**Dahyun finally stood up with the box in her hand. She's done and she's going now.**
Dahyun: Excuse me.
**She said, not looking at Jeong.**
**Jeong sidestepped so Dahyun could put back the box where she pulled it.**
Dahyun: Good night!
**Were the last words she said before Jeong pulled her on her wrist.**
Jeong: Why is it so easy for you to leave me like this? Did you just fool me? Is this just a game for you?
**Jeong's eyes are full of pain. She's longing for answers, and it's the first time Dahyun saw this desperate side of her.**
Dahyun: Shouldn't I be the one asking you that question, Jeong?
Jeong: You know what I feel for you, and I never lied.
Dahyun: If you didn't lie to me, then whom did you lie, and lying? Nayeon?
**She paused waiting for Jeong to answer her questions. But it seems like Jeong is having trouble answering it.**
Dahyun: What's the difference no? Maybe you aren't lying to me, yet you're still lying to someone else, which makes it worst. I don't want to be part of this anymore, so let's just forget everything.
**Jeong let her go and looked down.**
Jeong: Do you regret everything that happened?
**Jeong asked, still staring at the floor. Doesn't have the courage to meet Dahyun's eyes.**
Dahyun: I do.
**She lied. She lied just to end this thing between them. Though in reality, she never regrets anything. She's even glad that it happened even though it didn't end well. I hope I didn't help you that day, and I didn't say yes when you said you want to pay me back. It's the stupidest thing I've ever done.**
**Jeong finally raised her head to meet Dahyun's eyes. It hurts her, and she hates it. Why does she need to hear all these things from someone she hoped to be with her, instead of her lover now?**
Jeong: I never regret anything, even if it means losing everything in my life. I never did, and never will.
**She couldn't bear the pain anymore, so she exited the kitchen and left Dahyun without even looking back.**
*****
**Chaeng sneaked at Mina's room again. She just wanted to say good morning and goodbye at the same time.**
**It's still early for school and Tzuyu and Dahyun aren't done yet, so she still has time to cuddle with her lover.**
**She took off her shoes and slowly lifted Mina's blanket to lie beside her.**
Chaeng: Good morning!
**She whispered as soon as Mina opened her eyes.**
**Mina smiled at the sight of her lover. She hasn't had the strength to speak yet, so she just nodded and moved closer to Chaeng and lie on her arm.**
Chaeng: Sorry for waking you up. I just want to start my day right.
**Mina nodded again and placed her hand on Chaeng's collar. She doesn't care if Chaeng wakes her up like this every day.**
**Then Chaeng hugged her tight and closed her eyes for a while.**
*****
Tzuyu: Did Mina cook breakfast for you earlier?
Chaeng: No. She's tired and still sleeping when I went to her room.
Tzuyu: Oh. I thought she cooked something for you 'cause you get up early.
Cheang: Hmm... 'cause I wanted to see her before going to school.
**Dahyun was staring outside the window as if not hearing anything.**
Chaeng: You okay, bro?
**Tzuyu and Chaeyoung were staring at her when she turned her head towards them.**
Dahyun: I don't think so.
**She no longer wants to lie or hide something. What she wanted is to feel better.**
Dahyun: Jeong talked to me earlier, and I hurt her. I know I did.
Chaeng: I thought she won't talk to you anymore.
Dahyun: I don't know. Maybe, she just couldn't help it. You know.
Tzuyu: What did you tell her?
Dahyun: That I regret everything.
Tzuyu: And you feel guilty about it?
Dahyun: Yeah.
Tzuyu: Well, I think it's better than making her feel that you're thankful for everything. At least it will stop her from talking to you.
Chaeng: Yeah. I think you did the right thing.
Dahyun: Even if it means hurting her?
**She creased her forehead. Did she say the right words?**
Chaeng: Yes. It's the only way for her to move on, and forget about you.
Tzuyu: Right! I agree with that.
**Dahyun sighed and went back from staring outside. Maybe, they're right. Maybe it's really the right thing to say. Let's just move on Dahyun. Let's just move on. She told herself.**
