Jeong: Whoa! What's up with that, Miss Son?

**Jeongyeon teased as she entered the kitchen, hearing Chaeng singing one of their songs.**

Jeong: Seems like you had a good night's sleep, huh?

**She opened the fridge and refilled her glass with water, while Chaeng continued to fry her favorite sausage.**

Chaeng: Good morning!

**She exclaimed.**

Chaeng: Yeah! I did. It's not just good, it's wonderful.

Jeong: Uwuuuuuh!

**Jeong walked towards her and leaned on the counter, so she could peek at Chaeng's endless smile.**

Jeong: Why don't you tell me what happened last night? You know, between you and Somi.

**Chaeng creased her forehead. She's smiling not because of Somi. She even forgot about her.**

**She turned to face Jeong, still  holding the pan's handle on her left and fork on her right.**

Chaeng: Somi? No. Nothing happened. I went home early last night.

Jeong: You went home early last night? But you weren't here until ten. Where did you go? And what happened between you and Somi?

Chaeng: As I said, nothing happened. Well, I just realized that Somi is an amazing person, but I'm not into her anymore.

**Jeong's left brow went up.**

Chaeng: The thing is, I shouldn't have done that in the first place.

**She went back to frying the sausages.**

Jeong: Why not? Is it because of Mina?

Chaeng: Uh-huh.

Jeong: Ooooh! So, what's the real thing between you two?

Chaeng: Hmm...

**Her smile is endless again.**

Jeong: Shit! Are you two together now? I mean, for real?

Chaeng: Shhhh! We're still finding the right time to tell everyone about that. You know.

Jeong: Dahm! You just flirted with Somi last night in front of her?

Chaeng: I know. I know. See, I shouldn't have done that. But we're okay now. She forgave me already.

Jeong: That fast?

Chaeng: Why not? I gave her my sincerest apology.

Jeong: You're the boss!

Chaeng: Not really. She's the boss. I guess it just so happened that I admitted it, and became honest about everything. You know.

**Jeong suddenly went quiet, and then Chaeng realized she's responsible for it.**

Chaeng: Sorry. I didn't mean anything.

Jeong: Of course. Maybe I just feel guilty about it. I'm glad you're not mad at me.

Chaeng: Mad? It's the most underrated word to describe what I used to feel for you.

Jeong: I'm stupid, am I?

Chaeng: Hundred and one percent, if you ask me.

Jeong: But I'm trying my best to change now.

Chaeng: I know. And I can see that. Maybe just stick to not bothering my best friend and we'll be fine.

Jeong: Well, I guess even if I want to bother her, she won't allow me.

Chaeng: 'Cause she knows that's the right thing to do now.

**She turned the stove off and transferred the sausages to her plate.**

Jeong: Can I have one?

Chaeng: Noooooo! It's for Mina. I'll wake her up with this.

Jeong: Ooooooh! Such a sweet girlfriend, huh?

Chaeng: They call us brothers, but don't want them to call us cheating brothers. That's why I want Mina to feel that I'm head over heels for her.

**Jeong was silent for a second, weighing the next words she'll say.**

Jeong: Can I be honest?

Chaeng: Why not?

**Then she pulled a tray from the bottom cabinet, and placed her plate of sausage and toasted bread on it.**

Jeong: I really like your best friend. I know it's wrong, that's why I'm trying my best to work things out with Nayeon.

**Chaeng turned again to Jeong, couldn't believe she's hearing these things from her. She thought she already forgot about Dahyun. Didn't realize she's still struggling with this cheating thing.**

Chaeng: Whaaaaaaat? But you seemed to be okay with Nayeon lately.

Jeong: I am. But whenever I see Dahyun, I'm going back to zero.

**Chaeyoung sighed.**

Chaeng: That's sick.

Jeong: I know. Don't worry. I won't do stupid things again.

Chaeng: Good. 'Cause I don't want to see my best friend cry. Okay?

Jeong: I don't want to see her cry, too. So, I'll be careful this time.

Chaeng: You better be!

**Jihyo and Sana are still asleep when Chaeng entered their room.**

**She needs to be careful she won't drop anything from her tray or she'll wake up everyone. She thought.**

**She even closed the door quietly, then tiptoed until she reached Mina's bed.**

**Then placed the tray on Mina's bedside table, and smiled. Smiled at the thought that the girl in front of her loves her the way she loves her.**

**She hunched down and kissed Mina's cheek, which startled Mina for a second.**

Chaeng: Sorry!

**She whispered.**

**Mina blinked several times. Couldn't believe what she's seeing in front of her. It's the first time she saw Chaeng in her room to wake her up.**

**She held out her hand to reach Chaeng and pulled her closer to her.**

**Chaeng gladly sat on her bed and kissed her on her forehead.**

Chaeng: Still sleepy? I made you breakfast.

Mina: You did?

Chaeng: Uh-huh. Just a toast and sausage.

**Then Mina pushed herself up and sat beside Chaeng, though she's still sleepy. **

Chaeng: If you're not yet ready to get up that's fine. We can eat it later.

Mina: Noooo!

**Then she hugged Chaeng and rested her head on her shoulder.**

Mina: Let's eat it. You woke up early for it.

**Chaeng hugged her back, smiling.**

Chaeng: Okay, okay. Let's eat it now. Well, I thought you have a schedule today that's why I made you breakfast.

Mina: Yeah! But it's only six, babe, and my schedule is at nine.

Chaeng: Did you just call me babe?

**Mina raised her head and stared at Chaeng, bewildered.**

Mina: I thought you want to us to have a name. You said you want babe?

Chaeng: I do. I'm just surprised you remembered it, and it just sounds so good in my ears.

**Mina hid her face again in Chaeng's collar.**

Mina: Of course, I remember everything about you.

**They stayed at that position for a minute before Chaeng pulled herself away from Mina, and carried the tray on Mina's bed.**

Mina: What's your schedule today?

Chaeng: I'm with Dahyun later. We need to practice our part together. Then do the recording and see which one is better.

Mina: Can you go to the studio when you're done?

Chaeng: You mean, pick you up?

**Mina bit her sausage first before she answered.**

Mina: Yeah?

Chaeng: Okay. But what if you finish first?

Mina: Then I'll be the one to pick you up.

**Chaeng smiled and gave Mina a peck on her lips.**

**Mina's eyes widened and covered her lips.**

Chaeng: Oops! Sorry. I forgot about them.

Mina: Eeeeeeeh!

**Chaeng giggled.**

Chaeng: Okay, okay! I'm sorry.
