Dahyun: Which is better? This or this?

**Dahyun pointed at her paper, bearing two sets of verses for the project they were working on.**

**Chaeng wrinkled her nose, carefully thinking which one sounds better.**

Chaeng: Hmm... I like this one.

**Dahyun nodded.**

Dahyun: Me, too. Okay! I'll go with this one.

Chaeng: So, you and Jeong aren't talking anymore?

Dahyun: What?

**She was surprised by the sudden question.**

Chaeng: Nothing.

**Dahyun snorted.**

Dahyun: You wouldn't ask if it's nothing. Tell me what it is.

Chaeng: Well, we had a little talk earlier and it seems like she's still thinking about you.

Dahyun: I don't care. Besides, you're right I should stay away from her, and just be happy for them.

Chaeng: Okay. I guess it's better.

Dahyun: It is. And if we are talking it's just because I'm professional. I don't want people to think that something is going on between us.

Chaeng: Hmm... Right.

**Chaeng doesn't want to press anymore 'cause she felt a sudden change in Dahyun's tone.**

Chaeng: Sorry...

Dahyun: Just don't bring that up again.

Chaeng: All right!

Dahyun: How about you and Mina? You came home late last night. Where were you?

Chaeng: Ah, yeah. We talked, and we're okay now.

Dahyun: Really? What did you tell her that convinced her to forgive you, huh?

Chaeng: I don't know. Maybe, my sincere apology? I mean, I really regret what I've done.

Dahyun: And she believed you?

Chaeng: Uh-huh.

**Dahyun nodded and went back to writing on her paper.**

Dahyun: She loves you so much, Chaeng. I hope you could see that. I have never seen someone so pure in my life, you know.

Chaeng: Yeah! I know, and I can't afford to hurt her again.

Dahyun: I'm counting on it.

**Then Dahyun smiled. Satisfied with the lesson that her best friend learned.**

Jihyo: Yes, Son Chaeyoung? Why are you here?

Chaeng: Nothing, I'm just checking if you guys are already done 'cause Dahyun and me were done already.

Jihyo: Really? Or maybe you're checking up on Mina?

**She said with a smirk.**

**Chaeng rolled her eyes, smiling. Why is it so difficult to hide something from her friends?**

Jihyo: Mina, Chaeyoung is here. She's looking for you.

**Mina immediately stood up from her seat and checked Jihyo, and yeah, Chaeng was sitting on the couch, although she didn't say that she's looking for Mina.**

Jihyo: She came here to see you.

**Mina chuckled because Chaeng turned red after Jihyo spoke.**

Jihyo: Okay, I'll leave you two alone.

**But before she goes, she asked Chaeng one last question just to tease her.**

Jihyo: Wait! Are you here because you're going to ask Mina out? Or what?

**Chaeng hid her face with her right palm.**

Chaeng: Why are you like that? If Mina doesn't know anything, she'll probably think I'm creepy.

Jihyo: Aren't you?

**Then she laughed.**

Jihyo: Just kidding. Anyway, I'll go now.

**She went back inside of their studio to rehearse her part, while Mina walked towards Chaeng and sit beside her.**

Chaeng: Are you okay?

**Mina pouted her lips and grabbed Chaeng's arm before she rested her head on Chaeng's shoulder.**

Mina: No. I'm so nervous, and I hate it because I couldn't get the song right. I'm sure the producer thought I'm stupid.

Chaeng: Hey! Don't say that. You're not stupid. Besides, I'm sure you'll get it if you listen to it over and over again. I sometimes have the same problem, you know.

**Mina sighed. She still feels bad about it. But having Chaeng beside her makes everything bearable.**

**Chaeng tapped the back of Mina's hand, which was resting on her lap.**

Chaeng: Don't worry about it okay? I'll help you out if you want. Or is there something else bothering you? That's why you couldn't focus?

Mina: Nothing. It's just, I heard our manager will talk to Jihyo later. She's a bit pissed, I heard something about a controversy or something. I'm not sure though.

Chaeng: What do you mean? What exactly did you hear?

Mina: Not much. I was busy working on my part. Then I just realized that there's something wrong when Jihyo got quiet. All I heard was, "we need to talk, I need to show you something." Something like that. Then the last thing I've heard was, "you need to see it with your own eyes."

Chaeng: Did Jihyo say something after they talked? I mean, at least a hint?

Mina: No. She didn't say anything. It's like nothing happened, that's why I have this feeling that there's something wrong. It's kind of strange, you know.

Chaeng: Hmm...

**Then Chaeng nodded once. What was that about? She thought.**

Chaeng: I don't see anything strange on the internet earlier, so I'm sure it's nothing serious.

Mina: I don't think so. I know her tone. Remember when she scolded us because we couldn't perfect the dance last year? 'Cause, no one was giving their full attention? That's how she talked earlier. I just wish, the thing about the controversy isn't that serious.

Chaeng: Hmm... Let's not worry about that for now. Maybe, it doesn't concern us, you know. Let's just focus on your part. Why don't you sing it now and let's see what we can do?

**Chaeng doesn't want Mina to worry about it even though it bugs her, too. What if it concerns them? What shall they do? She thought.**

Mina: Okay.

**Mina straightened up and sing her part in front of Chaeng as if she's singing it in front of their producer.**

**Chaeng smiled as soon as Mina dropped the first note. Shit! Why does she sing like an angel? I can listen to her voice forever without getting bored.**

Mina: What do you think?

**She pouted her lips again, hoping Chaeng likes it. 'Cause if not, she'll get disappointed.**

Chaeng: That's too perfect. I mean, who wouldn't love that voice? It's the best thing I've ever heard in my entire life.

**Mina squinted. Chaeng's comment is just too good to be true. And she might be giving her a good comment because she's her girlfriend. She thought.**

Mina: You're just saying that because I'm your girlfriend. What if I'm not? Would you still say the same?

Chaeng: Of course, I do. I swear. I love it. You're perfect.

**Then Chaeng grabbed Mina by her waist so she could pull her closer to her.**

Chaeng: Hey, stop worrying about stuff, okay?

**Mina stared at Chaeng, wanting to kiss her, but she can't. Not the right place to do that. Instead, she just nodded and smiled at her.**

**It's already eight when Chaeyoung and Mina received a message from Jihyo while having their dinner.**

Jihyo Message: I need everyone in the living room later at nine. I have an important thing to say. And when I say I need everyone, it means everyone. Be there on time.

**Mina and Chaeyoung stared at each other after they've read the messages on their phone.**

Mina: I told you there's something wrong.

Chaeng: I wonder what it is.

**Mina suddenly got worried about it, and Chaeng read her immediately. So she grabbed her hand and squeezed it.**

Chaeng: Let's finish this and go home.
