Rose: Son Chaeyoung!

**Chaeng could feel Rosie’s smirk with the way she called her name.**

Chaeng: Park Chaeyoung!

**Her voice was flat and disappointed.**

Rose: Oh! Don’t greet me like that. Smile!

Chaeng: I bet you know why I’m calling you.

**She said bluntly. She has no time for this nonsense pep talk.**

Rose: Oh! Shouldn’t you greet me first before we talk about the reason for your call?

**Rosie’s not yet done playing around. She’s still enjoying annoying Chaeng.**

Chaeng: Cut it, Rose! What have I done to you that made you do this to me?

**Rose chuckled.**

Rose: What took you so long to call, Chaeyoung?

**Chaeng closed her eyes and took a deep breath. She’s losing her patience.**

Chaeng: So you’re waiting for my call?

**She gritted her teeth.**

Rose: Of course, I am! What do you think is the reason I sent that video? To get your attention, of course. And...

**She chuckled again.**

Rose: and for you to feel the way you betrayed me.

Chaeng: Betrayed? Did I betray you? I remember nothing, Rose. I don’t!

Rose: Hmm... so you have dementia now?

**Chaeng didn’t answer ‘cause she’s trying her best to control herself. She doesn’t want to lose it and say something that she might regret at the end.**

Rose: Maybe you remember nothing since you’re drunk that night. All I know is you made me feel you liked me.

**Rose snorted while recalling the night they were together in the PUB.**

Rose: It was the last time I saw you. But before that, I don’t think you already forgot the days that we’re talking over the phone and exchanging messages. Flirting with me and making me believe that there’s something.

**Chaeng let her back fall on her bed. She didn’t realize Rosie will take it seriously. For her, it’s just a talk, though she honestly thinks Rose is pretty and nice. That she would be a perfect girlfriend, but not for her.**

Rose: Still nothing, Chaeyoung?

Chaeng: I thought... I thought we were just talking... you know, as friends. I didn’t mean to... flirt with you.

Rose: Oh! Really? Using words like, ‘I wonder how you smell tonight’. Is that a friendly talk to you? I didn’t know friends talk like that Chaeyoung.

Chaeng: I’m sorry...

Rose: Not only that, worst was we spent the night together and guess what? You kissed me as if you’ve been waiting for that moment to happen. Now tell me you kiss your friends like that, too. Do you?

Chaeng: No, I don’t.

**Chaeng was too drunk to remember the things that happened that night, but flashes of it were finally showing up to her memory. She asked Rosie to go out with her for a drink and dance. They drank different alcohol, which made her lose herself. Then the last memory that flashed in front of her was they were pushing the door of a room, kissing. But she couldn’t remember what happened after that.**

**What the hell is going on? Why can’t I remember anything? Did something happen to us? Did we just? Did we? No! Impossible! I don’t remember we did it. Her head hurts from forcing herself to remember everything. She wants to ask the details, but afraid that Rose might say something that will piss her off.**

Rose: So what were we that time, Chaeyoung? What were we? Or rather... what I am? Past-time?

**Chaeng didn’t know what to say. She could feel she’s losing in their conversation.**

Rose: Why can’t you answer me, Chaeng? Because I’m right? Am I?

Chaeng: I... I didn’t know this would happen. You’re not a past-time. You’re more than a friend. It just so happened that...

**She paused. How should I say it? She thought.**

Rose: It’s just I’m not Mina, right?

**Hearing Mina’s name only confirms that she’s no longer beside her. That her parents brought her back to Japan because of this.**

Chaeng: Did you send the video to her parents, too?

**Rose snorted before she answered.**

Rose: What do you think?

**Chaeng abruptly sat up. Couldn’t believe she’d do this to her lover.**

Chaeng: Mina did nothing to you, Rose. Why do you need to involve her here? I know you’re mad at me, but please, don’t do this to her.

**Her voice is now an octave higher. She’s no longer holding back. She needs to say what she needs to say.**

Rose: Isn’t it the best revenge I could give you?? You played me like a fool, Chaeyoung. You do not know how much it hurts me. And I know one thing that will only hurt you, and that’s seeing your dearest Mina fade away in front of you.

Chaeng: I don’t mind you ruining my career, just don’t do this to her, please.

Rose: Naaah! I have no intention of ruining your career or hers. I’m not a bad person, Chaeyoung. I don’t have plans on sending that video everywhere. I only sent it to your agency and to her parents. Well, I don’t think our agency will leak it ‘cause it will definitely ruin you and your career.

**Chaeng doesn’t know if she should say sorry for what she did to Rose. If she will, that will only prove that she admits everything. But it also means letting Minia gets hurt.**

Chaeng: I—I’m sorry, Rosie. I didn’t mean to hurt you.

Rose: I’m fine now. I don’t need your sorry. I’m already done with my… revenge. But my question to you is, how would you explain everything to Mina?

**Rosie’s smile went back into place. She’s getting what she wanted, and she knows telling Mina about what happened to them will jeopardize Chaeng’s relationship with her girlfriend. It’s the ultimate revenge on her list.**

**Chaeng gulped. Now she’s asking herself if telling the truth would ruin everything they have. She can’t afford to lose her. Now that she’d fallen for her so hard.**

Rose: I’m asking you again, Chaeyoung. Would you tell her what happened to us that night? Or do you want me to tell it to her on your behalf?

Chaeng: No! Please! I’ll do that part.

**She said quickly.**

Rose: Are you ready for her reaction?

Chaeng: It’s beyond our relationship. That won’t consider as cheating.

Rose: Well, I didn’t say it’s cheating.

**She said casually.**

Rose: It’s just... she’ll know how you fool around. Good luck!

**Then Rosie hung up the phone, which leaves Chaeng panting nervously in her lightless room.**
